Answers to the questions we hear most from OEM/ODM buyers. Do not see yours? Ask an engineer.
What is the difference between OEM and ODM at TouchVision?
OEM means we supply one of our proven products under your brand, optionally modified. ODM means we design a new product to your specification, make the tooling and manufacture it.
Can you build a product to my drawing or replace a part I already use?
Yes. We can match the outline, mounting holes and connector positions of an existing display or board so our part works as a drop-in replacement or second source.
Do you do tooling (mold making) and mass production?
Yes. For custom enclosures, bezels and frames we open production tooling after design freeze, then run a pilot batch and volume production on our own lines in Beijing.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for custom products?
It depends on how much is customized. Branding-only OEM orders have the lowest MOQ; projects that need new tooling require larger quantities. Small pilot batches are welcome. Send your quantities for a firm answer.
How long does a custom project take?
It depends on scope. Branding and minor modifications are fastest; a full ODM design with new tooling takes longest. We give a schedule for samples, tooling and mass production with the quotation.
What warranty do you offer?
All products carry a 3-year warranty from the date of delivery, with remote technical support by phone, WhatsApp and email.
Which touch technologies can you supply?
Resistive, projected capacitive (PCAP) and infrared touch, or displays without touch. Cover glass, brightness and sealing can be customized.
Which processor platforms do your embedded boards use?
Our standard ARM boards use platforms such as Rockchip RK3568 and RK3308, NXP i.MX 8M and TI AM3354. Custom carrier boards are built around proven core modules; x86 is available for panel PCs.
Do you provide firmware, software and HMI development?
Yes. Our team develops BSPs, drivers, communication protocols, HMI screens, SCADA projects, AI algorithms and on-premise LLM integrations for the hardware we build.
Which certifications do you hold?
TouchVision is certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and an information security management system, and is a National High-Tech Enterprise. Datasheet models carry CE, FCC Class B and RoHS compliance; certification for custom products is handled per project.
Is TouchVision a manufacturer or a trading company?
A manufacturer. TouchVision is the brand of Beijing Huamei Xuntong Technology Co., Ltd., founded in 2012, with in-house R&D and a production base in Changping District, Beijing.
Where can I see your standard products and datasheets?
Our full product catalog with datasheets is at ecovox.uk. This site focuses on customization.
